About Radiant
It started with a sewing floor
Radiant Uniform Works opened in Doha in 2007 to make uniforms and ready-made garments for a market that was growing faster than its suppliers. Everything since has grown out of that.
The story
We began by making uniforms, and we still do. Over time the customers were government bodies, hospitals, independent schools, hotels, security firms and retail chains. Once you are already supplying a client, they tend to ask whether you can supply the next thing too.
In 2014 we set up Radiant Technical Trading to take on the technical work properly rather than handling it on the side. It has supported oil field operations and EPC contractors ever since, in sealing, pigging and pipeline consumables.
Onyx Radiant followed the same logic, covering local trading of building materials and the maintenance work that comes after a project is finished. Three companies, one office, one set of standards.
How we run the place
Integrity
It is the basis of the relationship. If a date is going to slip, you hear it from us before it slips, not after.
Quality
Inspection at goods-in, in line on the floor, again before packing, and by your own third party if the contract asks for it.
Initiative
Qatar’s market moves quickly. We would rather adopt a new method or chase an awkward supplier than explain why something cannot be done.
